Thankyou for growing with us! As 2020 comes to an end, so does our business. We are retiring.

A family business depends on a commitment by members to participate and accept challenges necessary to carry it forward. Some last several generations while others not one. Change is inevitable. For 25 seasons we have enjoyed growing and sharing flower and vegetable varieties we hoped would bring color and enjoyment to central Wisconsin patios, yards, and gardens. During that time, our children have grown from little helpers to adult professionals with careers of interest to them with distance, families, and commitments making participation in the family business impossible. If 2020 has shown us anything, nothing is for certain and as much as we would like to see Springer Family Acres Greenhouse continue, our time has come to an end. With great sorrow, we will not be returning for a 26th season.

Although our doors are closed for good, no longer supplying seeds, plants, or potting mixes, it is our hope we have generated an interest in gardening or container planting to continue long after our memory has faded. Perhaps a new greenhouse will rise or an existing one will be rediscovered. With our retirement, we will not be custom growing and if you happen to have an authentic unused SFA Greenhouse gift card, please contact us for a refund. We wish you the best in 2021 and each growing season thereafter. Thanks again for your patronage through the years.
