As another gardening season approaches, we are busy with the usual planting and transplanting of what we intend to fill the benches with. Each growing season has a set of challenges to overcome. This year it has been the deepsnow and unseasonably cold weather. The sunshine has helped, but we had trouble ventilating some of our houses as the crusted snow piled higer than our curtain bars, keeping them frozen in place. As cold as the outside temperatures have been, we still see temps in the eighties or higher inside where the plants may thrive in the heat, or they may wither if not kept watered. We managed to dig out of the deep snow and are hopeful in anticipation of being abloe to provide our customers with the variety and quality they expect. Stay tuned...
